What will kids learn in our after-school programs?
Robot Explores After School programs are an introduction to beginner Robotics designed to start at the beginning to systematically teach students electronics, programming, and how to combine those skills to build a functional robot. Students explore engineering and mechanical design principles while building multiple fun robot projects that drive around on a tabletop, respond to light and other objects, move, detect obstacles, and make sounds. Robots with surprisingly lifelike behavior and much more!
Students work with some of the newest STEM programmable robots that allow kids to learn through guided play in an exploratory and encouraging workshop environment. We emphasize pressure-free creativity, with a focus on discovery and fun.
